Admissions Process for NEW Students

1.Complete an online initial application. This application can be found on the home page by clicking the New Student Apply button.

2.Once this form is received, you will be contacted to schedule a time for you and your child(ren) to visit the school. Incoming kindergarten - 5th grade students will receive academic testing.

3. If TCA is a good fit , you can apply for enrollment. There is an enrollment fee due upon submission of this online form. Supporting documents are due at this time as well. Those documents include school records including updated immunizations, a copy of the birth certificate, a copy of the social security card, hearing, vision, and dental screening, a discipline record if one exists, attendance reports, report cards, standardized test scores, one teacher recommendation, and one principal recommendation.

Two and three-year-old applicants will need a copy of updated immunizations and a copy of the birth certificate and a copy of the social security card.

Four-year-old applicants will need a copy of updated immunizations, a copy of the birth certificate, and a copy of the hearing, vision, and dental screening and a copy of the social security card.

4. You will be contacted regarding the decision of your child’s admission.

The Torch Christian Academy admits students of any race, color, nationality and ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally afforded or made available to students at the school. Students entering kindergarten must be 5 years old before September 1st of the school year.

Students entering Pre-K (4) must be 4 years old before September 1st of the school year.

Students entering Pre-K (3) must be 3 years old before September 1st of the school year.

TCA’s preschool program qualifies for exemption from state licensure.

TCA reserves the right to deny or terminate enrollment if the program does not meet the needs of the child or if false information was received on the application or the enrollment form.
