THE DRESS CODE APPLIES TO KINDERGARTEN -5TH GRADE.

Preschool classes do not wear uniforms.

Girls Dress Code

Tops:

Polos or turtlenecks: white, navy or gray 

  • A solid white, navy or gray long sleeve shirt may be worn underneath short sleeve collar shirt in cooler months

Blouse: solid white 

Sweatshirts: navy, white or gray solid

  • Must have a school uniform shirt underneath

Zip-front Hooded Sweatshirts: navy, white or gray solid 

  • Must have a school uniform shirt with logo underneath

Sweater: navy, white or gray solid

  • Must have a school uniform shirt underneath

Bottoms:

Pants/shorts: khaki, navy or gray uniform style only. No jeans except on Fridays. 

Shorts: khaki, navy or gray

Skirts: khaki, navy or gray

Jumpers: uniform style may be worn. 

  • Leggings or tights of any color may be worn under jumpers, skirts and skorts.

  • Students can wear black shorts underneath skirts & jumpers.

  • Bottoms should not have any holes.

  • Belts should be worn only IF shirt is tucked in and bottoms have belt loops.

Accessories:

  • Belts must be solid color with no decorations. Scarves are acceptable.

  • Shoes with high heels are not allowed.

Tennis shoes must be worn on days when your child has P.E. 

Uniform Free/Casual Dress Day – Every Friday

A uniform free day allows students to wear any clothing of their choice with the following guidelines considered: no spaghetti straps or tank tops, no bare midriffs, no pants with revealing holes, no shirts with advertisements or inappropriate wording and shorts/skirts must be fingertip length.

Boys Dress Code

Tops:

Sweatshirts: navy, white or gray solid 

  • Must have a school uniform shirt underneath

Sweater: navy, white or gray solid

  • Must have a school uniform shirt underneath

Bottoms:

Uniform Embroidery

All TCA uniform polo shirts must have the TCA logo embroidered on the left chest.  Parents are responsible for purchase of all uniform attire.  Uniforms may be purchased at a store from which you choose.

Once uniform shirts are purchased, you may bring them to the school and drop them off at the front desk.  (If you drop shirts off during the summer, you can take them to the Administrative Offices building.) Shirts must be in a bag that is clearly marked with the student’s name.  Payment for the embroidery must be in the bag with the shirts.  Each shirt is $5 for embroidery.  Cash or check payments are accepted.  Checks should be made out to Michelle Anderson.  Once the shirts are brought back to the school, they will be sent home with the student.  Other items may also be embroidered.  All items are $5 unless determined differently.
